New living learning community fosters identity

The following is a piece that I wrote for the University of Iowa, Division of Student Life 2017 Annual Report. My section of the report focused on the achievements of University Housing and Dining.

Fostering identity is one of the core goals of the Young, Gifted and Black Living Learning Community (LLC). The new living learning community, which opened in the fall of 2016, had a unique formation; it was founded by Black students for students.
